Sahr Building Supply of Kalamazoo, MI is located at 635 W. Ransom Street, on the outskirts of Downtown Kalamazoo. Previously housing Roth Brothers Lumber Company and originally built to house Union Lumber and Trim Company in 1890, the building that now houses Sahr contains a rich and unique history, including the first automobile built in Kalamazoo, MI by the Blood brothers for the Chevrolet brothers to run at the Indianapolis races. Many changes have been made since the building was built in 1890, including additions made to better facilitate the housing of stock for Sahr, and the facility square footage totals 27,600 square feet.
